Under review today we have the Sunday Riley Tidal Cream.

Not available in Australia, I purchased from Space NK.

I have been using this for most of this year, so about 10 months and I can not rate it highly enough.

This gel-creme or what beauty world now call these as “water creams” is a gem for anyone with dry skin.

Seasonality: This has worked for me in winter, giving me a dewy makeup look. In summer it might produce a bit too much glow but will quench dehydrated skin.

Scent: very light, natural scent, reminds me of exotic flora – keep in mind it does have bird of paradise extract in it!

Texture: gel-creme, that gives skin a dewy glow – see images below.

Ingredients: oil free – perfect for anyone who gets congested easily. Has your usual hyrdrating suspects such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, jojoba esters.

As to the whitening? I haven’t seen any whitening/brightening of my skin despite have the alphra arbutin – but the hydration and lightness I get from this was my primary driver to purchase this. And for me, this cream does its job – to hydrate.

Summary: 10/10 – a must have for anyone who craves deep hydration during the day.

I hope this has helped anyone wanting to try this but just not sure of whether to take the dive.  It is worth every cent for me!
